So what is mental studios? It is first & foremost my portfolio, my cyberspace playground & gallery for everyone that finds interest in 3d & all round multimedia production. My webs will over time cover most of the various creative segments of the digital media world.
My name is Brian B. Sørensen, the owner & creator of mental studios. I first had the idea of going into the digital media business 7 years ago, but at the time, the only thing I had as fuel was nerdy interest in games & 3d animation film, which I found to be hardly enough at the time.
After graduating from high school in 2007 I went on a year of sabat, earning money. During this year I worked as a production worker and team leader at a wood factory. Beside my day job I was coordinating district chief for Jylland-Posten. In 2008 I began studying Digital Media at Media College Aalborg, with no prior experience in the field.
In 2009 after completed the basic course I moved to Grenaa to attend 3D college, where I am currently a second year student. I wish to specialize as a Multimedia Animator with expertise in 3d-vizualisation.
I am a down-to-earth, hard working young man with a child’s dream of becoming a great 3d-artist. With less than a year of 3d experience I have already reached a fair level of expertise. I am punctual and always ready to take on the next challenge that comes along. Spending as much as 12-14 hours a day in front of a computer can seem challenging, so I try to use my free time wisely, and making the most of non-work hours, which is spent on running and being with my beautiful girlfriend, my friends & family. As a habit I always meet people with a smile, because a smile is contagious.
Professional work experience:

- The job title was all round 3d artist, the main tasks were modeling, texturing, lighting & texture baking for Fritz Hansen’s new furniture catalog.
